Standfest: Youth Groups are Kicking Butts
There's no doubt that the students in Northwest Ohio are taking an active stand against smoking. Here's a short recap of just some of the stand programs we're heard about over the last six months

- In Lucas County, stand youth helped organize Love Your Lungs parties at numerous schools and handled out lots of 53K bracelets.

- Youth in Seneca County held a "stand in" restaurant day and a drug-free day at the YMCA.

- Kids in Wood County teamed up for a Kick Butt Day cigarette butt clean-up.

- Three Hancock County stand members attended the state summit.

- Bracelets and tobacco-free goodies where the giveaways at the Sandusky County stand team's talent show in March.

- In Defiance County, stand members have been very busy: at a bowling alley event, attending the movie "Fever Pitch" and signing up students during Stand at the Prom.
